Spatial Biology: Sample to Discovery

Conference 13 April 2026

We are delighted to announce that HDBR will be participating in the upcoming conference Spatial Biology: Sample to Discovery, taking place on 13 April 2026 at the Frederick Douglass Centre, Newcastle University. This free, one day event will bring together researchers, technology specialists, and industry partners to explore cutting-edge advances in spatial biology, from sample acquisition through to meaningful scientific discovery.

We are excited to hear Dr.OmerBayraktar, the keynote speaker. Dr. Bayraktar is internationally recognised for his pioneering spatial transcriptomics work in developmental neurobiology, and we look forward to his talk on the future of spatial biology.

Conference sessions will cover a broad range of rapidly evolving topics, including:

  • Spatial Transcriptomics
  • Proteomics and Metabolomics
  • Image and Data Analysis
  • Sample Acquisition and Biobanks
Whether you are new to spatial technologies or deeply embedded in this field, the conference provides an excellent opportunity to gain fresh perspectives, liaise with service providers, engage with experts, and connect with peers advancing spatial biology research across disciplines.

Date: 13 April 2026
