New third trimester and neonatal post-mortem brain archive now available
We are excited to announce that HDBR can now provide access to a new archive of third trimester and neonatal post-mortem brain tissue.
he collection has been incorporated into HDBR from the Rutherford Perinatal Tissue Resource, King's College London, and contains fixed and frozen brain samples spanning later fetal and neonatal development.
This unique archive extends the developmental stages available through HDBR beyond our existing embryonic and fetal collections, providing researchers with exciting new opportunities to investigate later stages of human brain development. The collection includes tissue from pregnancies affected by a range of fetal abnormalities and pregnancy complications.
If you are interested in incorporating these samples into your research, or would like to discuss the collection in more detail, please get in touch with the UCL-HDBR team.
