Announced at Spatial Biology: Sample to Discovery 2026, 10X Genomics ran a competition in conjunction with the SPARTAN team to win a FREE 2-slide Xenium assay with 50 custom target probes. The competition was judged by 10X Genomics based on the best abstract proposal they received from researchers describing how the technology could progress their studies. We have been told that it was a very difficult decision to find a single winner as there were so many quality proposals received. However, there can only be one winner. Keir won with his proposal to investigate primary testicular lymphoma (PTL) which is the commonest testicular malignancy in men over the age of 60. PTL differs from nodal lymphoma as it has the tendency towards late relapses in the central nervous system in a condition known as secondary CNS lymphoma (SCNSL). The objective of the study is to compare the spatial context of the tumour and tumour microenvironment cells in a cohort of paired patient samples of PTL and SCNSL.
